Fattierob, another question: what are the values for heavy infantry? are they higher or the same?

Heavy inf are the same for ship boarding (they have more health and do more damage in ground combat, however)

Thanks! When you are online, we should try and get some people warm there and then maybe.
As for Kenny Naboo:
I was asking for a challenge, not a cheap capture! I know that luth would be easier

The challenge is in getting out after you've landed your troops.
Otherwise, you can always point jump the Nexus, unload, then die.

Sounds like a plan!
Thanks fattierob, maybe I'll sometime try to make an UTGO/luth army by using a planet that is chucking out normal infantry, could be fun

First off the capture roll is based off a 100 sided die, then that number is then subtracted by the units experience value multiplied by 10. Then, enhancements kick in and increase the die roll. Then, this number is checked to see if it's lower or equal to the ships capture chance. |
|
What enhancement does join the roll?
Is it the more experience the inf is, the higher chance to capture the ship?

No Enhancements change the roll in favor of the attacking unit. The only enhancements that change the roll are capture defensive enhancements on the players ship, and that makes the roll harder for the infantry.
And yes, as I stated in the post, the more experience the infantr has, the better of a chance it has to capture the ship.

Capture defense enhancements? Is that something planned for a future release?

It's in the code if it's ever needed. I don't know anything about new content coming up in regards to it.
