You gus need to advertise a little bit to get Darkspace out there so ppl know about it not many players have been on in a while we need more ppl to play against, my advise try runescape post a banner about darkspace or play a video link or something, this is better than eve online EVE sucks, so even is u can find free advertsing go for it we need more players it makes game more fun Thank You.

Well, me and my friends are starting a gaming commentary thing on youtube. If that works well and we have quite a bit of viewers, I'll make sure we do a DarkSpace one.

i ahve to agree - 99% of DS's failnig to have a good playerbase is the only way to find it is to google or youtube darkspace.
Perhaps #*$@%?@%ty facebook ads? Those annoying google ones? popups?
SOMETHING has to be done - this is an issue that we cannot procrastinate with.

Ads might work. 99% of people groan at seeing them but some people do get curious and click them.

Well, I've mailed several independent game review sites abt DS.
So treat your noobs nicely. The next noob you see in the MV might be a game reviewer. ROFL.

Dont underestimate the impact of some stickers on streetlight-posts and walls etc. Stickers is the cheapest yet most effective way! Maybe if someone makes 100,000 stickers and send 20 to each new or active member we get ppl to join.
Of course its best to advertise on sites that get showed first in google when u search mmorpg, space simulation, space sim free, etc. Maybe make your own site that, with some good choice of keywords, gets top view in google search. copy some reviews from other sites, change minor things to make it your own personal opinion about a game, and add a darkspace review that rocks!
