when i start up GCQL everything goes well until the loading phase it gerts stuck at the last bar or "loading objects" havent played DS in a year pls i want just to go kick arse

GCQL doesn't have a loading bar (it has a connection bar though), do you mean the DarkSpace client?

Make sure your card supports Shader Mark 3.0 - if not, disable Shaders and Shadows in the option menu.
