Ok well this dread is basicaly useless unless you want to be a big target yes it has build-drones but weapon wise compared to the other factons its poor at best it hasnt even got any cannons just 6 fighters and a few beams mabye remove some beams and 1-2 2 fighters add some torps or ion cannons and some heavy Rail/gauss's guns to it make it useful at the moment i never see one where as the ugto one is effective in combat and out just as the brood is however the icc command dread even atrange there are better ships such as the "guppy" for fighters or a SCB...

Since the COmmand Dread is so Weak i suggest it gets a 200 gu repair field and 2 more fighters so it can defend it self

it got 3 mining/tractors for supply plats or fast rebuild. ugto CD dont have mining beams.

i agree firepower wise it doesnt compare. it has other strenghts. maybe 1 or 2 more fighter slots would make it more used though.

the UGTO Command battle on the front lines.
the ICC High Command commands the front lines from the rear line.

The ICC Command Dread is a Command Carrier!
This means it isn't ment to be in the thicks of combat, it should stay at the rear lines together with the Missile Dreads.

Yes in the future the command class ships will have AOE gadgets helping there faction in other ways.

Yes they are two totaly different ships the CC and the ugto CD.

In the last patch the CC could get a negative signature by its own, doing cloaked fighter attacks, now even a stealth module wont get it below zero, so you need a second ship to stack ecm.

The MD now is even more squishy cause it needs all energy for missiles, no room for def mode.
So its almost useless, one can really only use it very defensive hugging a planet, + pd is so high, missiles wont hit much in a big battle.

would be nice to have the command dread over hauled because atm of its lack of offensive weapons. It would be very please if we had some sort of AD/Combat dread hybrid similar to the uggie one(cannons and torps), but it would prob be OP. Just thinking aloud but I would like to see our command carrier changed so it would be a bit more usefull because atm its easier to pull an engie and build than it is to pull the just as naked command carrier and be a larger target.

Command Carrier is best used as a kamikaze ship. Constantly respawn and point jump people then selfdestruct ontop of them, even better if it's loaded with engine tuners so you can get to the ones hiding behind an Interdictor.

I'll forward the concerns to Jim.

I've long complained to Jim that the Command Carrier is simply not a ship you can justify fielding. Since it cannot add meaningful damage like the Command Dreadnought can, it needs to compensate for its lack of offensive power by providing a large enough bonus to allied ships.

Given that these allied ships will be Missile Dreadnoughts or, for daring Command Carriers, Combat Dreadnoughts (note, though, that their fighters are less efficient at close-range), you have to consider whether it's more profitable to field a Command Carrier, or increase your firepower by a large margin by, instead, fielding a relevant combat ship.

yes there is a few of us that actualy do test things that have been telling jim since before 670 came out, that in the face of the planned AOE fields, the ICC CC may be lacking.

Yeah to command aura.

And pls make fighters more deadly.
Can they like, launch missiles or fire torps?

i always wanted fighters to act more like fighters. but the only issue is that i have is that they stay out of pd range would like that fixed if that was not intended.
