Well if you'd read the thread title you would see that the poor OP was asking for Admin's to sing. Since they are just too busy sitting in their (literal) ivory towers to help the COMMON DARKSPACER, we have taken it upon ourselves to sing for the OP.

Getting back on topic, that would actually be a little harder, because they would need to code in a new layout, with diffrent locations for the weapons. The easier option is to remove the dictor from the existing elite.

Getting back on topic, that would actually be a little harder, because they would need to code in a new layout, with diffrent locations for the weapons. The easier option is to remove the dictor from the existing elite.

+1 to this if it could possibly be done at least for a few weeks. The revised ship layout would then come out with the next beta release right?

What you're asking for cannot be done without a patch. I have emailed Faustus asking for a possible timeframe.

And adding cannons and ruptors in its place.
That dico takes up a lot of space. Space that can now be filled with weaps.
And so they'll need time to refactor that ship. In the meantime, life goes on.
