Hey guys i got a plan to spice up the mv for a bit since it's been getting rather boring. A contingent of icc ships(other factions are welcome but please do not shoot the icc because for now they are your allies and vice versa) will invade the pirate sector of lymar after rearming and preparing at polaris. the goal of this operation is to expunge the pirates, earn so pres, and of course kick some ass! The task force should consist optimally of: 1-2stations(one with wh device), 3-4 dreads at the most(1 siege and the rest combat), as many cruiser as we can get(borders are not need and i reccomend strikes, heavies, maybe a guppy, and possibly a dico), destroyers and below are not needed but are welcome,and we will need some heavy supply ships.

I have been practicing in the pirate sector too see what ships are best and i believe this is a good layout to take them on. i will come up with a date on a later post so keep updated on the battle plan.

If you are interested then just post the ship you will supply to the battle and what faction you will be on. if there are too many of one type of ship then i will e-mail you to ask you to choose another and e-mail me your choice. Let's show these ragtags what it means to fight!

Only Cruisers and below are allowed in Pirate space. Stations,dreads and such will not be allowed to enter the server and anyone who try's will be sent back to ship selection screen. Thus your all screwed.

But if you bring lotta cruisers you might win pirates are easy till the pirate stat gets you lol

Nautilus are a joke, they're only a threat if you're dumb enough to get in beam range, and even then they aren't too much of a threat because they run out of energy very quickly. A couple Cruisers will pick them apart easily.

Hell, me and Schrodinger's Gun used to kill them in RR using Sensor Corvettes.

btw i think pirates should be reintroduced to sag in order to spice things up. but more than the mi plz

if they are i believe it would make sense for them to be somewhere in Dres-Kona, Cota/Kyota cluster maybe?

Best thing to do would be add a couple planets on the other side of Kaus for the Pirates, and move the RR gate to Kaus near those planets.

If you ask me, pirates need to raid the AI transport and extractor ships that are traversing the MV.

Raid as in, Board and Capture. Not just destroy. That's what pirates do.


And perhaps once in a while, pirates should have some code written into them that they'll try to capture a faction's SY planet in force.

That should make them more interesting than just flying around.


Ditto the MI. Except that the MIs already attack any players ships and try to glass our planets.
