same problem i have. i have a nvidia card. for some reason the computer doesnt want to detect the card, doesnt want to reinstall the drivers, and when i go to nvidia's website, it wont detect my card so i cant download drivers for it (even when i do the manual search on anything there i can select, it wont give me results). so in the end i just assumed the card was dead and moved on (mostly).

in my case the NVidia card was incorporated in a weird system controlled by intel. i also cant select nvidia card to be used at any place, and can mostly only adapt settings of intel, and intel controls nvidia for me. its annoying...but it seems to work atm..

Did u accidentally uninstall your intel graphics boosters stuff?

do you have model numbers? It could be that you are trying to install the wrong driver.

Go to "Run..." or your start menu search bar.

Now type in "dxdiag" (DirectX Diagnostic)

Tell us the stuff it says under the DISPLAY tab, or post a cropped screenshot of it.

Device name and driver version are important.

i know this is more towards brony but when i did that nothing shown up under device and for drivers, its shows the default driver for the computer (or however you might put it, the main driver is vga.dll so im assuming its the computers default driver, not for the device, which isnt detected, or appeared as "n/a" for just about everything for that side). but i eventually found the device through another part of the computer (forgot what part now but i found it). now im just trying to find a driver for it (every time i go to nvidia's website, it says it cant find it so now im stuck with using google). hmm, still feels like im missing something from this message........
