No. As posted in my game mecghanics Q&A thread:

Ships Damage: 3x
Ships Captured: 15x
Planets Damaged: 1x
Planets Captured: 5x
Friendly Fire: -3x
Repair: 2.5x
Construction: 1x
Kamikaze: 5x
Self Destructs: -10x
Jumps: .1x
Planet Collisions: -1x
Resources Lost: -.005x
Scout: 1x
Bonus Prestige: 1x

Every time you self destruct, you get "1" self destruct point. so that's 10 prestige you lose, on top of the normal resources lost. However, whatever damage you do counts as kamikaze damage, which rewards slightly more prestige for damage (5x compared to 3x)

Don't forget that some people don't care about prestiege, but some of those DO care about their (the enemies) K/D ratio. Just a thought.

Ever since AI K/D ratio doesn't mean anything.

Yup. k/d is meaningless because AI is so easily farmed.

SDing is a double edge sword, on the one hand if you have enemies boarding your ship and no way to fight them off, then you should probably do that. Ups your prestige. However, there should be a penalty for constantly SDing while in combat and about to die

Being captured doesn't lose you prestige, and there's always the chance that you don't get captured.

getting captured might have no impact on yourself (if the capped ship leaves combat and despawn at a gate, even your enhancements lose no durability) but getting capped shifts the ods towards the enemy... one ship less on your side, one more on the other side
and capping a station, when there are only small ships left could be devastating
