moinsen,

ich spiel gerade auf diesem szenario server ugto zum ersten mal, recht intressante sache muss ich mal sagen ^.^

jetzt hab ich festgestellt das sie unterschiedliche panzerungen für unterschiedliche situationen ausrüsten können...

aber welche ist für welchen zweck ?

personally, i always use standard armor.

reflective armor gives you more protecton from lasers, but is weaker against other weapons, so it's usefull if you plan on fighting k'luth

ablative armor has more protection against most weapon type (cannons, missiles, torpedoes), but wont repair itself over time like the other two, so you have to find a supply ship or planetary depot to fix your armor

As memory served, I read Fattierob description that Albative repairs itself 20HP/sec. Information contrasts here.

I believe that was a design change not currently implemented. Even then 20 hp/sec is a very mediocre amount that will only be noticeable when you have no supply depots in an extended campaign. Even then your ammo will have run out, forcing you to supply anyways.

Still a great buff as it will help you when your ablative takes some small damage in skirmishes that really doesn't warrant a resupply.
