He has not created a fleet only joined one that is already in existence. WKA has been around for a while. Off and on since the Beta days.
Yes WKA will be starting up again and at the moment we are accepting new members.

I have made Fox squadron before. It was a bunch of Wolf guys who were hopping over to ugto. And then there was =Wolf= the first time, and then about 2 years later I restarted them again. Was mostly all the same old players, so....
Besides that, I have been in Evil fleet, but I didnt start that one. Was an admin tho. That was Evil Bob's baby.
So, to make a count, I have held 4 tags, and Wolf and Fox were the only ones I have ever created.
Now, with the Wolves gone, and I am not even playing K'luth atm or forseeable future, and having spent a pretty good time on UGTO, and having spent time teaching nubs on UGTO, I thought what they hell, why not just try to form a new UGTO fleet? Im one of the oldest remaining actual players in the game, have been for a while now. Not the oldest, but one of them.
I was a successful fleet admin in Evil, I was a successful fleet founder with Wolf. Fox was a side project when I created it, but I was willing to go all out for it now, for lack of anything better to do.
However, I'll take working with an old established fleet just the same.

It is good to see WKA active and recruiting again.
WKA is a fleet that is proud of it's performance of being a traditional UGTO fleet. Loyal to UGTO since the beginning and it will stay that way for as long as it has members.
As a fleet it has little secrets to hold, and it's members are always willing to help new people. Irregardless if that person even is in WKA, or even playing on UGTO. Helping new people or teaching existing people new tactics and strategies can only benefit the whole community, WKA knows this and does it best to Uphold that.
WKA has a history of close communication with its members, Ranging from good old GCQL fleet chat to E-mail, Ventrilo and even Phonecalls.
Topics range from every day life, to ingame DarkSpace to even other games. Yes WKA does not just limit itself to DarkSpace, but it has it's roots here.
So you might be asking how i know this, because i used to be a WKA member. Yes a ICC loyalist under a UGTO fleet. During the Dark-Ages (1.483) we had low population on all sides and i was looking for a fleet that had a reputation of being helpful, honorable and loyal to its members. GTN & WKA stood out. Not wanting to be at the mercy of Doran and Backslash i chose to suggest a contract with Challenger. (WKA fleetadmin). While staying a ICC Loyalist i would join WKA for minimum of one year. I got in, and stayed longer then one year i might add.
Word of warning, WKA does not like deserters, naggers, and or anyone who just can't uphold himself correctly in a public conversation.
Internal policy might have changed, but i doubt it has since my time. If you want to leave the fleet you must ask permission and give reason. Vacations to other factions (checking out changes) must be requested in advanced and approved. (To it was preferred you did that on another account.)
So if you find yourself wanting to join a Proud longstanding UGTO fleet, Join WKA!

Thank you for the kind words. Like GTN, WKA still uphold the same values and honor code now that we did in the past. Nothing has changed. Our numbers have been in a slump due to my inactivity secondary to in hospital vacations. Since I have my new laptop I hope to be online even when that happens again, which it will.
We are still have open fleet admin positions. So if you are interested please let me or Azreal know and we will take you into consideration.
