I'm using firefox.
I realize after the forum has snow, sometimes it pauses the screen and a scrollbar frequently appears then disappears on the bottom of the screen.
Christmas issue?

I don't have that issue with Firefox and the snow.

There is nothing to do with computer or ISP.
I meet no trouble on IE.

They did mention that GCQL uses IE for its browser. Maybe the thing doesn't work well with FF?

the snow pauses when you click outside of the browser

the snow is a javascript animation, so it should and does work on all java-supporting browsers

@kin set firefox as your default browser.
check the "check if FF is default browser on startup" tickbox in options->advanced if firefox. close then reopen FF, and tell the popup box that you love mozilla

if you like to use IE once in a while, but for some wierd reason you cannot now because it crashes on startup (with the annoying "do you wish to send the millionth error report about this problem?") then i advise removing is from config panel > software, then let windows update reinstall it after reboot

Move the pointer to the right side of the window. That seams to stop the flashing.

It almost seams to depend on where the mouse is on the screen at time of page loading. So if it flashes, put mouse on other side of screen.
