connection issues plz help |

I have resently started playing darkspace again and i have always used this internet type and well it sucks but recently i am unable to connect to darkspace this has never happened. I get some that says unable to connect to darkspace or server is down something like that plz help. Is it possible i could of dounloaded the wrong thing from the dounloads page? there are like 3 that says that it is the game lol
Sry if this is in the wrong fourm dident know were else to get help from.

Check your firewall settings. Do you play any other games online?

i have played other games online and have not had a problem. when i load darkspace it pulls up checking for game updates then my firewall or administrator comes up and i allow it acsses to my computer then it go to somthing else like the thing before it asks you for loging information and it says cant connect.

I would go into windows firewall (or if you have a third party firewall), and make sure there is an exception for Darkspace. If there isn't one there, create a new one and link it to the Darkspace.exe. Just to rule out the firewall.

Close GameCQ (completely) and restart it. See if that helps.

ok i went io my virus program (notran) and allowed all files retaining darkspace now which client do i dounload from the dounloads?

after i reinstalled the right one it still can not connect to gameCQ server.i dont understand why it cant connect.
just now my computer says i need another java update could that be the problem?

No, GameCQ doesn't require Java.
Looks like there's something on your maching (most likely a firewall) stopping GameCQ from connecting.

grea i dont know were to start looking i could jsut start uninstalling stuff i dont play or use, but for the other programs that are not other games i wont know what tog et rid of.

i went to my program files to see if the darkspace exe is in there and it is not so i have to find it and put it in there maybe that will fix it i dont know.i have uninstalled everything i can and hopefuly when i try it works

i have tried everything i allowed everyfile relating to darkspace through my firewall and nothing. i am stuck now lol

do you run darkspace with admin permissions? or in admin mode? or as an admin?
