Just an idea that popped into my head recently. Looking on the main announcments page here about us coming close to not meeting the bill requirements for keeping the severs online.
The idea would be a little display meter on the main page, showing the total amount of money that needs to be raised to meet the monthly server expenses. Then as people donate and subscribe, the meter fills up.
I think a visual representation of what it costs to keep the servers up and running might encourage people to donate or subscribe to help keep the game running. This way, once the end of the billing period rolls around, if the goal has not been met, people can see that and hopefully help to correct it. This I think would also encourage everyone to help make the goal be met faster.
Just my .02 worth of an idea to help keep the game going for as long as possible and keep it alive =)

And..maybe if we have gotten it up to 2x full meter (twice as much as needed) we get a kick-ass event (an event from WKA for instance:P)

That could be a good idea. Like once it hits the monthly goal early, like a special event or a small period where you get double the creds comes into play as an incentive for people to keep donating until the new billing cycle starts.
