- Players now have faction independant ship storage.

24 garage slots in 1.7. Holy developement!

My biggest appreciation to Fautus and Pantheon. I also thank a lot to the rest of the staff to work hard to implement incredible feature.

Oh, and shall we able to play as Pirate after this joyful feature?

Upon the coming of this feature, I believe fleet will change to adapt as well. Maybe it won't tie to a certain faction nor fleet players will have 24 slots of the fleet faction.

I suspect we'll be seeing more unfleeted players now.

You are very welcome. Honestly, this change was a rather easy one. I had originally intended to save out separate user storage files for each faction, but decided it best to just filter it out via the interface. Your storage is completely unified, but the interface will only display and count ships that match your faction id.

We're all working very hard on 1.7 (Jim and Walrus especially, words cannot describe how much work these guys are doing with layouts - it can be very tedious and repetitive). Kenny too, some of the models he's coming out with are utterly fantastic, and due to some alpha channel issues which we have only just resolved for the most part, you haven't seen any of them yet.

Keep up the great work guys.
Can't wait for 1.7!

Hmm... Do you suppose that fleeted players could have additional storage space for their faction? Maybe a fleet upgrade which can be bought that does this?

When you join a fleet you're stuck on that faction, so having the ability to get more space specifically for that faction which you are dedicated to would seem fair.

Not sure how to handle the removal of someone from a faction, maybe disallow ships from being launched until they delete all the extras?

Do subscribers have 12 x 3 = 36 ships in total?

Seems like now we need some sort of perk for fleeted players who are in essence giving up 24 ship slots.

Maybe something related to fleet levels?

People always find some way to complain, haha.

One step at a time.

Haha sorry Jack, I didn't mean for it to sound like a complaint- just an observation. I appreciate everything you do for this game.

Fleetless is the way to go. Fleets are filled with old peoples who think they are special and can boss people around.
