Awesome idea! If this goes down I will definitely be apart of it.
Basically it wont be a race to FA, it will be whoever can amass the most pres before dying.

Yes it would be much easier for kluth.....

Maybe you could change the rules so that human players can remain anonymous,(admiralchaos will know who is participating of course) so that they can at least have anonymity and not be a priority target among kluth, because let me tell you, we go very far out of our way to kill high profile targets...

To somewhat attempt to balance natural lobster evasiveness and survivability, you could have kluth player participants made public.
You could even make it so kluth participants will get a smaller credit reward if they win, as it wont be as difficult to survive, because i am very certain a kluth player will end up winning this.

Either way, I'll be keeping my eyes on this
I am also willing to put up AoD as a kluth sponsor fleet.

Most of my deaths are from disconnects and crashes and events that are quite honestly completely out of my control, and to make it for any long period of time is just one incredibly long lucky streak.

i got an idea to beat the kluth problem.

before the event starts, chaos makes a new [EVENT] fleet (be that with his main or an alt account). only he will be the fleet admin.

all participants with their new accounts join that fleet.

during the course of the event, [EVENT] cycles through factions (UGTO, ICC, KLuth) every week. that way, the participants get to be on each faction for a week, and the players who are effective on all factions will have the most advantage.

new rules for this change should be :-
participating accounts cannot kill each other (killing = killer gets disqualified, and the killed account gets 1 death excused, to claim take a screenshot).

participating players can use their main accounts to kill the alts.
alt accounts cannot leave the fleet until event is over. leaving = disqualifying.

no more kluth problem

I like this idea. I don't think id make the rule though, aside from the obvious of against the rules to kill/shoot down people on your faction.. scenario play would make killing each other free game based on being on different teams.

I'm also thinking anyone can join the event from start date to finish, and players knocked out can rejoin on a new account again if they so wish. So if you had some bad luck or bad lag that knocks you out of the running early you can always come right back and try again.

Also everyone being in one fleet makes it real easy for everyone else to hunt you down.

But let me know what you guys think, its for all of us, so I want everyone to be happy with what we are doing!

Thank you for donating your fleet to the cause. The event fleet may be the easiest solution here, but ill still mark you guys down incase we stick with the choose your faction plan.

I dont like the idea of people being anon, or kluth getting less of a reward for a job well done though, but if the majority feel like thats the best route.. by all means it does make sense. Id just hate to make the event less rewarding for those who actually just genuinly enjoy kluth more than the human counterparts.

An easier way would be to just reset your profile if you die and want to try again, it completely erases all prestige and stats so it's just as good as starting over without the hassle of creating a new account.

Ideally i'd like to have a little.. 'the little train that tried' type of deal.. besides perhaps someone would do well and fail, and felt they could still do better. I'd still consider the first one over the second, if they couldn't. Its a long event thats easy to get knocked out early, I just want to keep people busy.

S.W will happily be monitoring new players and killing them in order to lulz to your rage.

By S.W I also mean no one, since I'm the only one who logs in.

The thing with the fleets i didnt understand yet .

Whats the purpose on joining a fleet for the time of the event?

There are only a few people they will have to be accepted to the fleet but
then they will play ther own passive game and in the end they will have to
leave the fleet again or just be a dead wood account.

If i have to, i will join a random fleet, but notice that it may complicate things since not all CO and XO are online.

About Kluth:
Kluth is likely to win i aggree, maybe ther should be a 2nd place and 3rd place prize, maybe a bonus for human players to encourage not playing kluth.
But dont ban Kluth from the event imo.

Being in a fleet would just to be to faction lock a player. But we would most likely do a weekly faction rotate making everything fair and the same for all without worrying about the kluth problem.

Aside from that, being in a fleet would just be for social and teamwork reasons, for those who want to.

But as it stands.. it only looks like 3-4 people are interested, not that I was expecting a large turn out. I'll try to survey people in-game.
