I know I am new here, only been on a couple of months, but it seems to me that whenever I log on, there are more people on then there were just 2 months ago.
I'm not used to seeing over 20 people on in Metaverse (I assume that is where you go when you are actually playing), right now there are 22, and have also been seeing more people in 'DarkSpace English' room, though conversation isn't always lively in there.
I ran a BBS for 9 years back in the 80's, and summertime was ALWAYS the slowest time of the year for calls, and I am the docsis cable modem engineer for a catv system, and since 1997, summer has been the slow time for bandwidth usage as well. If thats the case, once the season changes, things should be hopping around here!
After reading many of the messages in the forums here, I only wish I would have discovered this game a decade ago, it sounds like it was awesome when there were loads of people on. I've only played a few times so far when I ran into other players.
Or, are people just logging in to see if 1.7 is up and running yet?
