thats the key for self destruct. So now i ave this issue, I play using WASD keys to control my ship, and if i am to manual target Cloaked ship, i use control key
But when you in the middle of a fight and you don't see that you Activated Self-destruct, you end up dead in the middle of the fight for no reason
S0 Since i cant remap those key, I believe it should be changed into another set of keys that your not constantly using (and don't ask me to use arrow key, your like asking me to play a/your play style which isn't right, Beside the way my desk is set, i can't use my arrow keys without going cross arms and stuff)

I know exactly what you mean and I totaly igree. I suggest eather remap the key or change it so its not identical to 'out of combat' counter

SD needs a more alarming graphical count-down.

Probably a good idea; We should probably remap it to something hard to press (CTRL+ALT+L+NUMPAD3+BREAK)

I've accidentally started the SD timer a few times but so far I've always managed to catch it before it actually SDs my ship.
But that being said I've seen several people SD for seemingly no reason during the time I've been playing and this is the likely cause. It'd be a good idea to change it to a keybind with something other than ctrl, or have it only trigger with right ctrl.
