Hello,recently i've downloaded and installed DarkSpace,everything was fine,no error and such..then i go to play the tutorial for explanation about the game and when i reach a phase where the tutorial tells me to enter the orbit of mycopia(not sure if i spelt it right),well i right click on the planet and press O to start the auto pilot,when i reach mycopia i see on the top left of my screen: "orbiting around mycopia" or such..but the tutorial doesn't go on and i can't finish it.The game looks very nice and i can't play it without the basics.
Any help would be appreciated

EDIT:If the problem can't be fixed,is there any other way to skip that part to avoid the bug?

yeah, um..

the bug is known, no need to post trace logs or such.

the bug has been fixed in v1.704 beta, and should be available when 1.704 is released.


so what to do for now?

the most straightforward is to admit that, being able to get to the bugged part in the tutorial means you can now perform the most basic actions required to survive in DS - piloting and jumping.

for those who want the genuine tutorial experience, you will have to download and install DSBeta and then play the DSBeta Tutorial. considering how playing and testing in beta contributes to game development, and how you internet freaks have access to 25mbps lines, go ahead.

for those who have 0.5-2mbps lines and still want the genuine tutorial experience, search the forums for quick beta installations or ask around in the lobby. the procedure is easily explained and walkthrough'ed in real time.

this is a known bug with the tutorial. a fix went into beta back in february but we've not made a release build since then.

give the tutorial (beta) a shot.
