I've kinda wanted to introduce neutral "civilian" ships for awhile now that would carry a penalty like this for attacking, but they'd all be NPC ships, not players. And we'd just use the same system we use for friendly fire, rather than implement some half-baked entirely new system.

What would they be for?

Visual indicators of a planet's economic activity. Fluffy, scene-filling stuff. DS right now just feels too empty; we've got these big space civilizations but there's only a handful of ships around instead of the bustling traffic you'd expect.

Can we also get yellow prestige for tasks that require math? You know, for things like correctly calculating a point jump and optimizing a planet so there is 0 leftover food and power.

No, you can't.

Why not? A very small part of your pres would be denoted as dark pres. Some would want to be top of dark pres for no reason.

Are you nutz! You always have leftover people to cover the nuclear winter. Gotta eat the weak.

We don't want to punish players for playing the game. Whine about it as much as you like, but transports, engineers and supplies are not going to stop being valid targets.

Why are people working to make the game better always accused of being whiners?
