Is it intentional or is it a bug that there are no UGTO AI combat ships or even repair ships. The only AI on UGTO are some transport ships.

It's supposed to be if for instance UGTO have two CM players and ICC have one CM player, ICC will get an equivalent AI to make the game more even or along those lines, however it has never worked right since it was implemented years ago.

All we have ever gotten from it is uneven AI numbers, never ending AI transports content on capping every planet system by system no matter if a human is playing or not, and it has been told to the dev's, mod's and admins many times in the past but it goes in one ear and out the other.

It's something I've learnt to live with upon till now as have many others since nothing is ever done about it but it really is becoming another nail in the coffin sadly..

this is no longer the case, pantheon has reworked the AI logic so it works differently now

this is no longer the case, pantheon has reworked the AI logic so it works differently now

Thanks for making ai more active on ugto, gives us something to do when no one on,

I agree. Some of the ordering could be exploited (for instance ordering all the AI to defend yourself and then simply go off and cap planets without even bombing), but a lot of the ordering made gameplay much more interesting. Would be nice to see some of it return.

You need to be at the same rank as required to pilot the ship to order it. This has remain unchanged.

Afraid not, ordering ships (AI) hasnt worked for years and personally.. I think that's a good thing. Other than that I've not had a chance to test the new changes yet but good to see it being reworked to try address the AI issues
