Hi
as i have read it in chat others have also problems with their connection. It has become very very slow since 2 days. The sending/receiving file list procedure is lasting longer and longer everytime. The download of the update was also very slow cmpared to before now 8kb/s at its best often lesser to over 50kb/s during the last 2 months. But in game the speed is as normal as befor.
Whoever also has the problem please post here.

Hi All,
yes its my prob too, since the last update (2,3MB) crashes i've a wonderful perfect downrate from 0,1kb/sek with isdn... 
I've reinstalled ds twice but its not better.
sending receiving filelist is over 5 minutes and i'm lokking to take my very old accustic modem, its more faster..
plz what can we do?

Its my problem too. Sometimes it takes to 10 mins to get in.
And last but not least the nav-screen error is back.

same here
it takes several minutes to join the game, the "connecting to server" & "loading objcts" screens are as fast as before, but the client has some problems to connect.
i joined the game with a ping of 180, but it was totally desync. i couldn't orbit a planet, i fired bombs and didn't see them and i saw bio turning around all the time.

I have the same problem, most i wait 10-15min to get into the Game and i have DSL

Hi All,
I think its time to write a positive report once
passed the great wonderfull superdupa xxl-days from german telekom the update works again 
only one day longer i think I would be the updateking
btw little tip for the german players which must reinstall the game ...
after the reinstall and the back copy of the saved data files adjust the system time to Texas to economize download
my login into the game lasts again a minute and finally i got updates now in the lived speed of the downloadserver

Now if I can only survive the lag. It's funny to jump from a battle watching the still pics, actually making the jump, waving by the the battle in progress with the system shrinking in the background and then all of a sudden, VESSEL DESTROYED! In addition to "poof", caught exception error.

I was just wondering what do other people here with 56k modems get on their download rate for patches.
At best I get 3.5k per sec. Do you think I should get a new modem or change my isp?

Hi
I also started with a 56k Modem and i get there higher rates - mostly at the maximum. Try to download at the morning there is little traffic. Now i have my praised ADSL and it makes really fun *g.
