upgraded my computer and now darkspace dies |

please help
I had DS installed on a amd 800 with 192 megs ram and ati radeon i upgraded my mainboard processor ram and changed sound ,everything runs fine except DS i reinstalled winME and DS and it still dies
i play for a few minutes then my HD starts chunking and fps goes to about 1 or less i then have to hit reset i have tried everything i have all the newest drivers and MB bios

I need more details about your configuration (i.e. driver versions, motherbord chipset, network card, sound card) etc.
especially network card is needed ...
same version of DirectX

my network card video and hd i kept when i upgraded my net is a realtek 10/100 my driver versions for radeon are wme-radeon-4-13-9021-efg the newest one for the AIW radeon 32 mb my sound is VIA AC 97 codec ver 5.12.01.3200 the install file is named via-686-120 and the AGP miniport driver amdmp480me the chipset is amd 760 (amd-761 + via VT82C686B) I got those drivers from the Epox site my mb is a EP-8K7A i have DX 8.1 and have fully updated WinME my processor is a athlon xp 1.4 with 256 MB ddr ram I have a cable modem for internet access hope this helps also today ati released a new driver for the radeon i tried it and the same thing happens

Please check 3 things
- Realtek released many new drivers in last days...
- PLease check audio driver to be latest ...
- Please AGP miniport driver to be latest ...
i try think about possible problem ...

it is very weird cause all my other games and apps run great DS is the only thing I am having trouble with

yep i had ME before
it was the same install that worked on my pre-upgrade system but since the promblems with ds i have reinstalled and that didn't help either
is there any windoze that isn't crappy?

WIN 98SE - with some "finetune"
WIN2K - with a bit more "finetune"
WIN-XP-pro. with a lot of "finetuning" / after it, its the best WIN ever
