After looking at your bootlog
remove/disable any Virusscan program you are running from dos and windows, when installing uninstalling the program.
You use McAfee.

Be sure you are running the latest VIA 4 in 1 Drivers

You are running ver 6.31c of the drivers for your GforceCard
Starting ASUS AGP-V6800 DDR SGRAM v6.31c
Úninstall the Asus driver and use the 10.80 nvidia refrence driver from here:
http://www.3dchipset.com/
(You can also try the newst Asus driver to from same place.)
There is many faults with the Sbpci128
[000D6E7C] Starting Creative Sound Blaster PCI128 (PCIVEN_1274&DEV_1371&SUBSYS_20601458&REV_07BUS_00&DEV_0E&FUNC_00)
last but not least besure that you are running Directx 8.0a and not just Directx 8.0

I finally made it !!!!! I got the update !!!
Thanks a lot to all the people who were trying to help me, especially to BIOnicman, who gave my the right tips.
I installed the latest VIA 4 in 1 drivers and the nvidia 12.90 driver for my GforceCard. Then I reinstalled DS and it worked.
So I'm going to see if I get the game startet now.
