i barely remember my noob days, neither have any stories. all the noobs have just asked me questions about stuff and shadowed me. BUT i have had WTF moments.
me: *plots jump to UGTO dread*
me: *jumps, but ship points in different direction than the intended target*
me: "WTF why do i keep doing that???"
me: *canceles jump and promptly smacks into planet*
me: WTF!!! *logs off*

noob: WTF my bombs didn't work.
me: its called a shield, your mirv bombs will not get through, not with the amount you where using any way.
noob: this game sux, im leaving
that one happens alot, mainly the shield bit.
another one that happens sometimes
me: *starts to cloud bomb a planet, didn't spot a engi that was sitting there and the engi runs over my bombs*
noob engi: you noob
me: wtf im a Vice admiral and ive been playing over a year, im not a noob besides there was nothing else i could do, i didn't c your ship when i was heading in.
noob engi:*is silent for the rest of the map*
