Ok I still would love CD to be called ANTS... But another name that would be great is Mieren

Let's call it Polaris, since we so obviously need that lovable star that's helped humankind many a time, whether trekking across the continents, or sailing the dark cold seas.
That, and I obviously like the name Polaris....and that's because I've played Escape Velocity Nova a lot....
Unfortunately, Polaris is in reality, three stars, close together. So, the end result is that I don't know why I'm going on this talk.
...except to make the suggestion we add a new MV system...the Polaris system.

To be truthful, I just came up with the previous name so I could effectively reply to Ants post. But not it is time for something somewhat serious.
Chimaera Dernier
Chimaera representing the combination of force of the ICC, and Dernier being that CD is the last line of defense and will prevail as the ICC as a whole will.

Simple little musical term I came across, one to signify the strength of the ICC.
Tutti - Passage for the entire ensemble or orchestra without a soloist.
However, I am quite fond of Far Star myself.

Indeed, you are correct, Fleet Admiral GothThug. In fact, the entire thing is riddled with errors - not only is the date and day wrong in my message, but the event listed also has a conflicting (and wrong) date.
I'll clear it up shortly; hopefully nobody became too terribly confused.
A small note I feel compelled to point out, as well... I know the High Councillor is long-winded, but apparently almost everyone missed this little detail in his post:

I'm seeing a lot of interesting suggestions, but quite honestly I was, and I think we in ICC leadership were in general, expecting suggestions more ... well, more with CD in their names.

Something like that. Those are random examples - obviously we don't want to call our system a dog - but having the letters CD preserved in the name would be best.
I know that the Scientific Committee at its review meeting yesterday was expressing... well, they were discussing how difficult it will be to choose a fitting moniker for our system.
Keep up the good work, and hopefully we'll see more quality suggestions before the end of the nominations.
