If you're going to put AI in the Procyon and Rogens transfer systems, then you should probably put some sort of AI in the Ursa transfer system just to even it out. :/

New layout looks good, everyone seems to have equal access to everything.

Yeah definitely need those no gate systems like we used to have a long time ago since those were very fun
Also need to put a couple of those "secret" planets in the middle of no where back =P

sounds good. maybe a system in the middle of the inner ring? would make a interesting "cauldron"

Yes, a small system in the middle would be a cool thing, maybe a few barren planets and nothing else so that players can't make a fortress.

my 2 cents:
2 rings
an outer, havingt the rich "home systems" plus nearly worthless buffer systems ( maybe one sy planet)
the inner ring have 3 good systems (multiple sy planets) and another small but rich system in the center
this way every faction should be encouraged to fight for this "jewel" in the center

I would hope you can keep Cin and R33 the same as they are now, they are wonderful systems to fight in, large with a lot of clusters to fight over (espcially cin so if you are to leave one system unchanged, that would be the one). As for Cins twin terrans, make Little Heaven an ICE or Arid. Cins bigger cluster, the center planet should be the 2nd terran (2 terrans per a "home" system is a good idea)
Eri has no real issues, its a well laid out system, with its two terrans not next to each other. Its clusters are kinda close enough to support one another, maybe make there planets (in each cluster) a little closer so they can support one another better.
Cin should be a Binary star, so should BD, or Eri should lose one star. Its a little unfair that the luth get a binary star system, but the humans get jack.
BD needs a lot of work, all the planets need to be in clusters, with maybe only 1 planet alone by itself. Home systems in general need to be this way for defensive purposes. BD needs its terrans, if all home systems are to be 2 terrans (still is a good idea) then BD's terrans need to be in clusters.
I have a lot of other ideas for this, would love to give the editor a try myself and see if I can use it in the first place.

Preferably, the systems BETWEEN the factions, would be unowned by AI. Additionally, with Kaus between UGTO/K'Luth, ICC have a very difficult time getting over there, while the K'Luth have a tough time getting to the Pirates in Luyten. Perhaps having a central "new system" with Kaus and Luyten attached to that would be a better setup. That way every faction has two routes without AI, in which to get to each other and beat each other senseless. In the current setup, each faction only has one such route, except between K'Luth and ICC, who have two ai free routes to each other.

I say put 1 system right in the middle and connect cinn, luyt and the new one to it.
This system is murder to capture alsmost a natural fortress but thats also the one thing that makes it a high priority target.
with this system you get a solid staging ground or fall back position.

I like this map a lot.
The only input I have is: don't make the gates shipyards .
ICC keeps having luth spawn from our transfer gate and when they go back in, instead of going to cassiopeia, they go back into shipyard, where they pull out a new nest and start the attack new.
We can do the same to them, but it just feels kinda wrong.
