If you look at the new Tiered ship system, you'll see that there are a number of cruisers designated M23x. Currently, all ICC cruisers look the same within the M23x range.
Once the Tier system is out, you'll actually see variants of the M230 class hull.  Same base hull, but with details to set them apart.

What you said about the last kluth design made me literally LOL. i could picture a ugto captain sitting in his cammand chair drinking something and spitting it all out when that ship decloaks lolol. "HELM JUMP!" "to where?" "JUST FRAKKING JUMP!"

Stay tuned for the unveiling of the ICC M230 cruiser variants (Yes, we have a few variants of that ol' faithful).
And the unveiling of the revamped/redesigned ICC M240 class of cruisers.

Those look like missile tubes along the side, M240 redo? That double arch gives it a bit of a UGTO look though.

Cookie for you. Indeed it is.
That will be the M240-M, as sanctioned by Jim. He wanted a redesign of the M240 as a sleeker evolution to the M230 class. ICC started off with converting civilian ships that were "taken" from the UGTO as broke off from Earth; plus they are both human factions and should see a couple of odd similarities in design here and there.
    
The Interdictor will also be moved up to the M240 class. I don't know what else he has in mind for the future.
M240 class updated on first page. I've also grouped the ICC ships according to their class/series

That looks bigger and bulkier than the M230, it actually seems better suited for a front line combat role. If the Assault Cruiser was moved into the 240 line I think there'd be a whole lot of happy ICC players.

The M230 and 240 are essentially the same length, though not necessarily having the same mass.
I've compiled a few shots for you.
   
The M230 is wider, but overall the hull is flatter and shorter in a sense, so there is prob less mass there. The M240 does look more modern and sleeker, but I somehow feel that it has a more utilitarian feel about it.

A revamp.
I decided to redo the first UGTO dread that I created into something that was closer to the existing dread. Sort of an evolution to make it part of the family.
UGTO ST2 Dread
     
I took the forward hull of the original dread and grafted it onto a modified rear end that looked more reinforced. This might be useful for one of the new tiered vessels.
