SY limited to Terrans promotes griefing. We all know there are several people who will blow up a faction's last SY just to be a jerk even if there are plenty of other planets they could choose from to bomb, and this makes it much easier for them to do so when they know there are only a small handful of planets that can support one. I'd suggest adding Desert and Ice into the SY capable planet list, this won't flood MV with AI but it'll at least make it harder for a faction to get taken out of action by MI and griefers.

This also really hurts Scenario as several maps don't have a single Terran. I know Scen isn't a big priority as not many people play it regularly but this change will make it even less populated.

Amazing release! I'm having the most fun I've had in a very long time!


Bugs I've found:

1. %t doesn't work

2. Targeted ECCM aborts when the target cloaks

3. You can't replenish the fighters in a set until all of them die or return to base. Although this is a very small price to pay for being to launch all of them at once.

4. The command auras on my SCB don't seem to save. Whenever I pull it out they reset to the default astrometrics/mining/engineering. Not a huge problem since it costs 10res/10tech to change them.

Most likely a design decisions and not bugs:

5. IT and anti-radar missiles seem to have the same exact speed, turning radius and overall accuracy. I'm used to anti-radar missiles being faster/more accurate.

6. Planets seem to take much longer to cap now

7. Can't see players in other servers. I know this is because of technical limitations but its still kinda annoying.

Shipyards are not limited to terrans. Someone jumped the gun on that entry.

%t will be worked on.

Targetted EWAR has been fixed.

The fighter problem is due to them launching in wings (only 3 can be out, and they launch in 3's, so you have to wait until all three die) : I've asked Jim to put them back to launch one at a time.

I'm not sure if I can fix the Aura issue, but I'll take a crack. This is due to the fact they are data, rather than code.

Not sure about the IT and planet thing : maybe it's just a feeling rather than actual fact?

You can see players around other objects if you click on them. This will be addressed so you can see other players in a system if you click in that system, but this will NOT be server-wide. There would be FAR too much data being sent to you, and we'd realisticly DDoS your connection.

Attempting to launch a ship in a home server on the first attempt will STILL give the option to change factions. Can post video after work for reproduction instructions.

Nooooo, the ability to launch all 3 wings at once far outweighs the inability to reinforce them IMO. Unless you switch back to single launch with a low cooldown?
