How to correctly contact staff members

/report

Clarification of the usage of the /report command.

  • Use /report for things that require immediate action by the staff.
    If somethings does not require immediate action then open a ticket, or post in the feedback forum.
  • Include a complete description of your problem/situation in the /report which helps the staff to react to it.
Bad examples;
"Anyone there ?"
"Any admin on ?"
"When will you bring back 483"
"I need help"
"I can't shoot at the ICC ships, they are OP"
"Goththug won't shut up in the lobby"
Good examples;
"Sag Hottha in Sirius looks like it was sabotaged within the last hour"
"player Foo is only shooting teammates, UGTO"
"yaje UGTO is afk camping our safezone ICC."
  • after you got a reply by a staffmember, do not use /report to talk to them, use '/send name texthere' (or /send @userID) to reply to the staffmember directly.

Tickets

Walktrough of making a ticket.

  • Goto the Ticket section of the DarkSpace website
  • Select 'CREATE TICKET'
  • Pick out the Catagory
Harassment - Reporting about other players behavior, actions or breaches of sportsmanship towards yourself.
Rules & Policies - Sending your questions or suggestions about the current ROC and handling of them.
Technical Support - Got a issue running the game, the launcher, or other technical question.
Billing & Account - Billing related questions And Account related issues (account recovery,email verification).
Other Issues - Everything else. These will not be automatically directed to the responsible staff member so these may take longer.
  • Give it a 'subject' that fits your question so it can be identified easier. e.g; 'safezones&platforms'
  • Then give your question in the big box
    Once you are done Hit submit

Ticket submitted successfully!
Your ticket will now be processed by the staff members, this may take time. sometimes more then one staff member is involved or the question gets passed up the chain of seniority (or authority)
You can see your ticket in the 'VIEW TICKETS' section. and here you can 'VIEW TICKET' to see your submitted details.

  • Once a staff member has replied you will get a email about it and you can either add more replies to your ticket in the Ticket section.
  • As a option you can reply and pick the 'Submit Ticket and close' option to close your ticket.

Forums

We have various sections in the forum that allow you to not only communicate with the community but with Staff in general.
This might be in forms of suggestions, discussions or stating your opinion.

  • For support or help about the game you can visit the Support section
  • For Development about the game or more you visit the Development section
  • For Organizing events or staff announcements Organization section
  • last up just the general discussion section here you can discuss in your own language, even staff members participate.
    but most likely your issues here will never get resolved, only discussed.

Direct & Informal

Want to contact a staff member just to talk to the person?
That is possible, simplest thing would be to send him a message '/send name texthere' (or /send @userID)
