Thanks bud, even all these years later still glad to see people enjoy it! 
I am actually working on a new story - not doing player-names though (maybe a rare ship, HIGHLY doubtful though). They were just too goofy and took away from the story.
@LoA: If you read the two endings... there are ghosts, that close enough?

Extremely doubtful. As I said in f chat last night, I ran into numerous problems of "I would never do this." "I wanna be the hero!" "I wanna have splodey boom awesomes!" "You killt me! QQ!" and other things that really sidetracked the story and derailed the characters.

Having written fiction for games using players and events that occured in-game, I can attest to the extreme difficulty due to things like this.
Players tend not to act in-character, which means that trying to then write a coherent story with the characters justifying their actions is just a bit challenging.
